I try not to talk about Aaron Carter on this blog too much because his overall vibe and current LIFE just seem way too dark, so I’m really never in the mood to look into what’s happening with him. That being said, the former pop singer and bisexual OnlyFans star is making tons of headlines this week after getting axed from a naked Vegas show, so I figured we might as well open this can of worms.
This all started earlier this month when it was announced that Aaron would lead a 12-week performance of the Las Vegas comedy musical revue Naked Boys Singing! The live show would feature Aaron with four other nude, singing men and would reportedly be the only fully-nude show in Vegas.
Unfortunately for any hardcore Aaron stans out there, it looks like that show is now never going to happen. BroadwayWorld recently shared a statement from the show’s producers Tom D’Angora and Nick Padgett that broke the news about the star’s forced departure. Instead of Aaron, the nude show will instead go on with the talents of American Idol star David Hernandez and Eating Out actor Chris Salvatore.
“We are disappointed and a bit embarrassed to announce that Aaron Carter will not be appearing in the Las Vegas production of Naked Boys Singing!” reads the joint statement. “Within a few days of the announcement, it became clear, for multiple reasons, that Aaron’s participation in Naked Boys Singing! was not going to work out. We requested his letter of resignation and received it Monday. We’d like to apologize to anyone who is disappointed or inconvenienced by this news. Refunds are available at your point of purchase. We remain committed to producing a first-rate production of Naked Boys Singing! with a talented and gorgeous cast and will begin performances on September 15th.”
So what are the very clear “multiple reasons” for Aaron’s extremely quick departure from the show? Well, no one exactly knows, but it’s being rumored that one of those reasons may have something to do with the pop star’s vaccination status. Queerty reports that Aaron was allegedly cut from the Vegas stage show “because the singer refuses to get vaccinated against COVID-19.”
Yikes! You really fuckin’ hate to see it. From what we could find on the world wide web, neither Aaron nor anyone from the show has officially confirmed the anti-vaccination rumors and we can’t really find the source from where Queerty got that rumor to begin with. So for right now, this seems to be just hot (but very believable) gossip.
